Beast Completed

I like the colours used in this one. The blues and greys work well together, and the few patches of lighter grey/ivory/white really draw the eye to the key focal points. I must admit I’m intrigued to know more about those blue markings that seem to cover one side of her body. That’s a really striking design there, and with a matching bird too!

Her left arm (furthest from viewer) looks  a little bit odd where it connects to her body and seems to bulge downwards.  I’d expect most of her shoulder would be hidden from view given the angle of the rest of her body, but that would then probably mean her elbow should be moved in a bit closer to compensate.

The other point I’d like to make is that the shading looks a little bit scratchy in her hair compared to the rest of the drawing. The blue fades in and out and makes her hair look tangled. I’d try and keep to smoother flowing lines and you’ll have a more consistent look across the image.
